How to set up a scene

Choose your scene's background color or HDRi, add lights/bloom, change its unit of measurement and more

Background color or HDRi

If you want to choose the color of a scene, click it to see the "Environment" section on the right sidebar and click the background color box to open the color picker. Alternatively, you can use an HDRi image as a background.

If you want to add lights to a scene, click it to see the "Environment" section on the right sidebar and click the lighting setup icon to select a zenithal type of lighting or a 2/3 light setup (key, fill and rim light). You can also choose the color of each light, set their intensity and enable their shadow.

Bloom

If you want to add bloom to a scene, click it to see the "Environment" section on the right sidebar, click the + icon next to "Effect" and click Bloom. You can set the bloom's threshold, radius and strength. If you want to remove the bloom, click the - icon next to "Bloom".

Unit of measurement

If you want to change the unit of measurement of a scene, click the RealityMAX logo, click Settings and click the Unit menu to select inches, mm, cm, m or feet.

Grid

If you want to toggle the grid on or off of a scene, click the RealityMAX logo, click View and click Grid to toggle it on or off.

If you want to switch how a scene is viewed, click either Perspective or Orthographic below the scene's gizmo.

Rename scene

If you want to rename a scene, double-click its current name and enter a new one.

You can also rename a scene from your dashboard by clicking the scene's three-dot menu and clicking Rename.
