Move and transform 3D models

To edit a 3D model, click it or click its respective layer on the left sidebar. You can use the 3D model's gizmo to move it around the scene, rotate it and resize it. If you want to know how to reset its transformation settings, click here.

Alternatively, you can enter precise values under the "Transformation" section on the right sidebar. You can also lock or unlock the 3D model's proportions. If you want to know how to change the unit of measurement of the scene, click here.

Edit materials

To edit a 3D model's textures, go to the "Materials" section, also on the right sidebar. You can edit the textures individually by choosing their colors and setting their level of polish, glow and opacity.

You can also upload your own textures by clicking the texture box, or by dragging and dropping an image or a zip file with textures into a 3D model. Then, you can convert the texture into a Smart Material and set its size, offset and rotation.

Alternatively, you can choose a texture from the materials library by clicking the open book icon.

If you want to duplicate, delete or reset the transformation settings of a 3D model, right-click it or right-click its respective layer on the left sidebar, and click the option from the menu.

If you want to lock a 3D model to avoid making further changes, hover over its respective layer on the left sidebar and click the lock icon. Click it again to unlock the 3D model.

If you want to rename a 3D model, double-click its respective layer on the left sidebar and enter a new name.
